The Federal Statistical Office has confirmed its initial report of 13 August on Germany's economic development. Accordingly, economic activity in Germany grew very strongly in the second quarter, by +2.2 % over the previous quarter - this represents the German economy's strongest quarterly growth since reunification 20 years ago. more
